A slightly less shielded glance assures me that no one reads this receptacle of my words anymore. The past two months apparently happened in 2001 and no one told me. I almost remember being eleven years younger, don't you? Back in those days, I thought nothing of standing on a hill in the woods, with a cloak to wrap myself in between wagons. When the wagons rolled, however, I did my best to be scary or, at least, distracting. Sadly, those days are behind me and I struggle to find excuses to dress up, aside from being crazy. I can always use that excuse to my advantage though, can't I? Some days, I think I should take a picture of my random pile of accomplishments to pursue to demonstrate how busy one hobbit can be. As I glance at my pile, I see a variety of items. I have journals to make and fill with words, magazine articles to sort through, a tape recording to transcribe, this week's submission for the fiction blog which will need some tweaking before Thursday, and various other items underneath them. I'm afraid to shift the infrastructure because something might bite me. It is the month for strange happenings after all. While I have those items already in the hopper, I have decisions to make before the end of the month. Do I plan to make a new costume? If so, what? Do I plan to participate in nanowrimo this year? If so, which novel will be my obsession? Who am I making presents for? What item should I make for them? I did make some time to give you a minor update. Hopefully, my next post will be more exciting. |
Lord Mezon has managed to keep the love and affection of Lovely Lady Katherine for three years. That deserves a big shout out and gifts, lots of gifts. I am sure they have the gifts covered. *cough* Anyway, I'm still up to my hobbit hair in prospective projects. Some day, I will stop finding new crafts and stories that spark my interest. If only my adoring public would tell me what projects they want to see completed. Santa isn't shy. I have even produced many of the projects he placed on my list for the upcoming Christmas season. And on that fine note, I shall sink back into my groove, but I have a gift for you here. |
As one can guess by my continued lack of posts, October continues to spit out projects for me. I haven't even put a single snip or stitch into a Halloween costume though I have fabric and mental patterns for two awesome additions to my impressive collection. Instead, my focus still lies in finishing even more of my waste-not want-not hippie journals and making a couple of quilts from some squares my mother collected (for me, no doubt). here. My car relishes my busy schedule. The sweet yodamobile gets to drive me to all my random parties and appointments this week. The only day she has off is Friday and some people seem determined to have me running around that day, too. *sticks out tongue* Little hobbits need a day off, too, particularly since their day off will consist of more sewing and tidying and obsessing over the upcoming month of writing debauchery. More on nanowrimo later... |
